From Pampers to Potty
What is it about transitioning a child to the potty that makes even the
bravest parent cringe? Other developmental milestones, like using a
spoon or learning to ride a bike, seem so much simpler. However, be it
bikes, spoons or potties, the same basic parenting
principles apply: Your child needs to be ready, you need to support him
or her, and you need to keep a sense of humor and perspective. This
seminar will help parents determine their child’s readiness for learning
to use the toilet, and devise effective
strategies for helping children master this new skill.
Thursday, November 13, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Hosted by Sunny Hill Preschool,
Sudbury

language-rich environment, talk about how to identify if a child needs
additional services, and intervention strategies that are used to
address articulation issues. Ms. Stewart is also an audiologist, who
completed her training at Perkins School for the Blind and Mass. Eye &
Ear Infirmary. She is currently in private practice.
